Are Personal Blogs Dead?

In a recent Tweet sent out by @KevinRose via Twitter he wrote “is personal blogging dead? w/my facebook page/twitter, I’m not sure I need a blog anymore.. thoughts?”
I thought about this and realized that I in fact have stopped blogging as often; not that I blogged everyday to begin with, and I have in fact started Tweeting more. I think this is because of the ease of Tweeting.
